Busy, busy, busy.

I am so sorry I haven't posted anything in a couple weeks but life has gotten really crazy. Since Ana Sofi and I came back from Mexico in June, I have been super busy trying to get the website done and everything else. I would have blogged sooner, except that something happened that got me a little behind.
My grandparents had their 50th anniversary last weekend and all of my family was going to gather together and have a party. All except me. I was really sad that I would miss it, but then, my cousins decided to raise money so Ana Sofi and I could come to Mexico.
So we did! We spent another week with my family in Mexico and we were able to go to the party and share this huge milestone with my grandparents. It was amazing. The party was so much fun and we danced until very late!

Anyway, we just got back from Mexico on Tuesday and since then, I have been working on the "Cutie Bugz Party". This is a special event to get people to know the products and have fun while doing it. I am so excited about this event! Here is a copy of the invitation!
So invite your friends and family! Share it with everyone and anyone and help me get this business started!

And to top this week: Ana Sofi is crawling! She started in Mexico but really happened on Tuesday as soon as we got back home! I am so happy because Shea, my husband, got to see it with me! My baby is getting so big and independent. I just love her so much!

First mom worst nightmare.

Ana Sofi is sick. As a first mom, this has been my greatest fear. I knew eventually she was going to get sick, but facing it for the first time it is  worse than I thought. There is nothing more upsetting than seeing your baby so miserable and not be able to help her one bit. All I want to do is make it go away! Does that feeling ever go away? I have a feeling it doesn't.

The funny part is that I was so excited about today's blog because I have some new super cute items and couldn't wait to share them here. Now, half the fun is gone when your baby is crying so hard (right now she is sleeping. Thank goodness!).

Still, here is a sneak peek of the new items!

101 in 1001 days

I am totally copying this one from my dear friend Haley (H + D photography). She decided to do a list of 101 things to be completed in a 1001 days! Some of these goals are small and others are much bigger and harder. None of these are in the order I will complete them, but I will randomly scratch them off as I finish them.
Another thing I am copying from her, is blogging about them and sharing the whole experience on this blog.

Now, does it mean that I HAVE to do them all? Well, I would like to. I love setting goals, but most of all, I like the satisfaction you get from accomplishing them!
This list is supposed to be completed on April 4, 2014. So we will see how it goes!

If you would like to read through my list, click on "101 in 1001".

Enjoy!

This crazy life

The past few days have been crazy and therefore I have not been able to post anything on the blog. Every year, there is a month were everything seems to be going wrong in our lives. It seems like all the bad things decide to happen at the same time.
But before I mentioned what has gone wrong, I will talk about what has been going great.
Since I came back from Mexico, I have been very busy starting this new business, and one of the things I decided to do was to take some professional pictures of the headbands with my daughter as a model. One of my best friends, Haley, is an amazing photographer (H+D photography) and so I asked her to take some updated pictures of Ana Sofi and also of the headbands.
So we headed to Augusta, where they live, and spent the whole weekend with them. Needless to say, we had a blast. Both of our husbands were there to help us keep Ana Sofi happy and smiling during the photo-shoot. Haley sent me a sneak peek of what the pictures will look like and I have to say, they are amazing. Here are a few of them.

 Isn't she just precious?

So that was the best part of this story. Now to the not-so-fun part. On our way back to Marietta, we noticed that our car was overheating so we stopped at a gas station to check on all the fluids. My husband (who knows about cars) checked the hoses, fluids, water, etc, etc and didn't find any reason for it to overheat. So he decided to add a little water and we resumed our trip.
Well, that was a bad idea because not even 2 miles later our car just died on the highway! It was 11:00pm, on a Sunday night, on a holiday weekend and we did not know anybody in that area (Conyers, GA). Thankfully, a cousin of one of our friends lives there and she came to our rescue.
Okay, so far life doesn't seem to bad, right? Ha! I just got a call from the repair shop we towed the car to and they just informed me that my car needs a new engine! Seriously?? A new engine?? I just cannot believe this. I haven't even finished paying this car and I can't even use it anymore.

Oh well, I have no choice but to keep on going.
